Position Overview
As a Junior Private Banker – LATAM, you will focus on developing and advising a portfolio of high-net-worth clients across the Latin American markets. With a strong emphasis on investment advisory, you will combine financial expertise with cultural understanding to provide bespoke solutions tailored to the specific needs of LATAM clients. Entrepreneurial and motivated, you will be expected to build and grow your own book of clients, starting with a minimum of CHF 40M AuM, while benefiting from the bank’s strong platform and reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow a portfolio of HNW clients from Latin America, starting with a minimum AuM of CHF 40M.
- Provide tailored investment advisory services, creating strategies and solutions aligned with clients’ goals.
- Leverage your knowledge of the LATAM markets and culture to build strong, long-term client relationships.
- Identify opportunities to acquire new clients through your network and entrepreneurial drive.
- Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver comprehensive wealth management services.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Act as a trusted advisor, upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
Profile & Requirements
- Previous experience in investment advisory is strongly required.
- Solid background in private banking, wealth management, or related financial services.
- Proven understanding of the LATAM markets and cultural specificities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, motivated to build and grow your own book of clients.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, portfolio management, and financial markets.
- Minimum CHF 40M AuM to start developing your own client base.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire trust.
- Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is an asset.
- Based in Geneva or willing to relocate.
