Position Overview
As IT Production Manager, you will be responsible for the stability, performance, and security of the bank’s IT production environment. You will oversee day-to-day IT operations, manage infrastructure and applications in production, and ensure business continuity. Acting as the key link between IT teams and business stakeholders, you will drive service quality, reliability, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise IT production services, ensuring system availability, reliability, and performance.
- Lead a team of IT operations specialists, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL best practices).
- Ensure compliance with IT security, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with business and project teams to ensure smooth integration of new applications into production.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Develop and maintain IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Continuously improve monitoring, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Provide regular reporting on IT service performance to senior management.
Profile & Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT operations/production management within the financial sector, ideally private banking.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, applications, databases, and cloud environments.
- Proven experience with ITIL processes and service management tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and French.
